HIM joins Stryker charity Auction
Stryker Medical and HIM joined forces recently to raise money in a charity auction. HIM made donations of a dinner for up to 40 people in the One5, fine dining restaurant and the services of our masterclass professional, Miss Wendelin, to teach a course in wine appreciation. The auction was a huge success with all money raised being used to sponsor a project with SOS Children’s Villages and Mercy Ships charity.
Masterclasses end on a sweet note
The final masterclass for the autumn semester was an extra special treat for participants. The lucky group joined Bernard Trottet and Silvano Nobbs from the Cailler Chocolate Centre of Excellence, in the HIM kitchens for a chocolate-making and tasting session. After a demonstration from the experts, students tried their hand at the technique and from the contented noises coming from the kitchen they were very successful. Susie Maylea summed up the class with just one word “heaven”!
